Repair Lighting ProtectionRepair of the lightning protection system on building 3234 at Tinker Air Force Base (AFB), Oklahoma. The facility will remain occupied throughout construction and did not affect the continued performance if the User's mission during construction. The removal of all damaged lightning protection systems components including, but not limited to, Air Terminals, lightning protection systems conductors on roof, clamps, fasteners to mechanical equipment and metallic structural components.
The installation of all new air terminals and mounting pads in the original location of those that have been removed. Instillation of new roof mounted LPS conductors in the original locations and manner where practical. The new LPS components (clamp - type connectors, bonding plates, air terminals supports, clamps, fasteners, conductors, etc.) shall conform to UL96, classes as applicable. All instillation of the LPS system shall conform to most current edition of NFPA 780 and NFPA 70
